Repertoire: Baroque and Classical
Corniloquio, created by Javier Bonet, is one of the only natural-horn groups in the world and is made up of the most brilliant proponents of the instrument in Spain.
It came about with the desire to revitalize a repertoire for horn choir that was abundant in the Classical period, which spans from duos to more ample arrangements when the repertoire requires, and always played on original instruments and according to strict historical standards.
Since their debut in the Aranjuez Early Music Festival in 2000, their activity has been continually on the rise, with such important milestones as the Spanish Premiere of the Concerto for Horn by G. Ligeti, which features a tremendously difficult part for 4 natural horns in the orchestra, and their participation in the 24th International Horn Conference in Lahti, Finland.
