Los Músicos de Su Alteza is a vocal and instrumental ensemble founded in 1992 by Luis Antonio Gonzalez, organist, harpsichordist and musicologist of the CSIC (Spanish National Research Council). Their work focuses on the orchestral, coral and chamber music of the 17th and 18th Century, paying special attention to the recovery of Spanish historical musical heritage.
A highlight of their work is the promotion of composers such as Jose de Nebra and Joseph Ruiz Samaniego. They record on the Alpha label and receive assistance from the Orange Foundation and the DGA (Aragon Regional Government Delegation).
The group’s solid musicological rigor has been unanimously highlighted by critics, as well as the drive and emotion of its interpretations.
