Repertoire: Renaissance and Baroque
Oniria, formed in 2009, is an ensemble that specializes in performing historical repertories.
It has performed at the institutional acts of the VI centenary of the Taking of Antequera, the XVI Three Cultures Season of Music in Cordoba, the IX Ancient Music Festival in Málaga, the VI Season of Sacred Music in Avila, the musical season of the Unicaja Foundation in Cadiz and Antequera and the X Season of Sacred Music in Ronda, among others, to great public and critical acclaim.
In 2011, the ensemble presented its first CD, “Musical Four Leaf Clover” at the Echegaray Theatre in Malaga, distributed by Discmedi Bleu and dedicated to music for the sackbut and based on the treaties by Daniel Speer.
At the core of the group are Yu-Jung Chung (percussion), José Antonio Martínez (cornet), Carmelo Sosa (alto and tenor sackbuts), Manuel Quesada (tenor sackbut) and Daniel Anarte (bass and tenor sackbuts and conductor).
